Fiolin
Elise Båtnes (f. 1971 i Trondheim) begynte å spille fiolin i fireårsalderen. Hun har studert med Dorothy DeLay i USA, Ruggiero Ricci i Salzburg, David Takeino i London og Arve Tellefsen i Oslo. Båtnes opptrer som solist med alle de norske symfoniorkestrene i fiolinkonserter av blant andre Alban Berg, Sibelius, Tchaikovsky, Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Bernstein, Mozart og Bruch. Hun er også solist med orkestre i Skandinavia, Tyskland, Belgia og Frankrike. Videre har hun gjort en rekke recital konserter og TV/Radio-overføringer i Europa og USA.
Siden 2007 har Elise Båtnes vært første konsertmester i Oslo Filharmoniske Orkester, en posisjon hun tidligere har hatt ved Danmark Radio Symfoniorkester og WDR Symfoniorkester i Köln. I tillegg er hun ansatt som professor ved Norges Musikkhøgskole.
Elise Båtnes (born 1971 in Trondheim) began playing the violin at the age of four. She studied with Dorothy DeLay in the United States, Ruggiero Ricci in Salzburg, David Takeno in London, and Arve Tellefsen in Oslo. Båtnes performs as a soloist with all the Norwegian symphony orchestras, in violin concertos by composers such as Alban Berg, Sibelius, Tchaikovsky, Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Bernstein, Mozart, and Bruch. She has also appeared as a soloist with orchestras in Scandinavia, Germany, Belgium, and France. Additionally, she has given numerous recital performances and has been featured in radio and television broadcasts across Europe and the United States.
Since 2007, Elise Båtnes has served as the concertmaster of the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra, a position she previously held with the Danish National Symphony Orchestra and the WDR Symphony Orchestra in Cologne. She also holds a professorship at the Norwegian Academy of Music.
